In keeping with the times, SECUR™ has the capability to operate in a secure way over the Web. This means that if your network is configured to allow connections over the Internet, you will be able to connect to SECUR™ from any computer with the Microsoft Windows operating system and Internet access – without any expensive and complicated third-party software. Note: High speed internet connection is recommended (DSL or ISDN).

HIPAA Compliance!
With the advent of HIPAA, database security and integrity become more important than ever before. The SECUR™ practice management system will utilize the SQL Server database – a robust database developed by Microsoft that provides secure remote access for multiple users.

Electronic Data Interchange!
HIPAA promotes electronic transactions – claims submission will be enhanced so that all payers must accept claims in the ANSI 4010 format. SECUR™ will allow each client to define their own EMC destinations and submit claims in the ANSI 4010. It doesn’t end there – other electronic transactions are also streamlined and SECUR™ has been designed “from the ground up” to streamline electronic transaction processing.

SQL Server is designed to safely and quickly store and retrieve huge amounts of information.
